Woody Wood and Jim Chandler are making a comeback to Nashville radio.
After being let go from their long-time home at 107.5 The River (WRVW) in May, they are now set to return on a new station, 93.3 Totally Hits Nashville (WQZQ), starting July 22. Cromwell Media has hired them to bring their popular morning show back to the airwaves, and they will be on weekdays from 5-10a.
Market GM Shawn Fort added, “We are beyond excited to have Woody & Jim join our team. Their ability to not only entertain but connect and give back to the community perfectly aligns with our motto at Cromwell Media of ‘making a difference where you are.’ After our first meeting with them we knew we had to make this happen. Woody & Jim are back, and they found the perfect home.”
Crate “Atticus” Morat, the Director of Music Programming at Cromwell Media Nashville, is enthusiastic about the return of Woody and Jim to the airwaves. Their chemistry and connection with the community are highly valued, and they are eager to bring their energy and fun back to Nashville radio1.
Woody and Jim also expressed their excitement about reconnecting with their listeners and making mornings enjoyable again.
