iHeartMedia announced today that Fernando A. Pérez has been named Program Director for WUMR Rumba 106.1, # 1 Para Reggaetón Y Variedad En Philadelphia, effective immediately.
As Program Director, Pérez will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the station’s music, programming, imaging, and branding. He will report to Derrick Corbett, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Philadelphia.
“It’s a privilege for us to be able to add a programmer with Fernando’s expertise to our team here in Philly,” said Corbett. “His incredible level of knowledge is exactly what we need to not only help grow Rumba, but to also utilize as a resource within our cluster.”
