Longtime WPRT 102.5 The Game radio host Darren McFarland is out at the station after 11 years.
The Tennessean reports the move was initially announced at the start of Tuesday's midday show by program director Chase McCabe, who had shared hosting duties with McFarland and Willy Daunic on the station's midday show, "Darren, Daunic and Chase."

"We appreciate all of Darren's contributions over the years and wish him only the best in his future endeavors," McCabe said.
McFarland has been on Nashville airwaves since 2004 and was with 102.5 The Game since the station's switch to sports radio in 2011. McFarland also was the Nashville Predators' studio host on 102.5 from 2013 through the recent season.
"When you have been in the radio business for 25 years, I guess you are never surprised by anything," McFarland told the Tennessean. "I’m just thankful for the 11 years I spent on the air at 102.5 The Game."
102.5 The Game's show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays is renamed "Chase, Willy & D-Mase" with the addition of former Titans wide receiver Derrick Mason.
