Leighton Broadcasting has announced Stephanie Theisen has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Theisen will also maintain her role as General Sales Manager for the St. Cloud market through 2020.
The St. Cloud cluster consists of Top40 KCLD 104.7 FM, full-service KNSI 1450 AM, AC KCML 99.3 FM, Country KZPK 98.9 FM and ZRock.
In the role, Theisen will oversee all aspects of sales and marketing throughout the seven Leighton Broadcasting markets and Leighton Events, best known for ownership of Craft Beer Tours.

As VP of Sales and Marketing, Theisen will lead development of strategic sales plans based on company goals to promote sales growth and client satisfaction for the organization. Specific responsibilities include business and market development, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, sales growth, and client satisfaction. She will also oversee the sales management team’s activity, team development/hiring and revenue growth.
“In the coming months I will focus on amplifying the impact Leighton Broadcasting has in the communities we serve,” said Theisen. “Leighton is a robust company with talented employees throughout our locations and divisions. I am thrilled to serve as the VP of Sales and Marketing for this incredible company.”
Theisen began her career at Leighton Broadcasting in 2003 as an intern in the sales department. With a degree in Marketing from St. Cloud State University, Theisen was soon promoted to Account Executive, and accepted the role of General Sales Manager in 2014. In 2018, she was promoted to Executive Director of Leighton Events and Director of Marketing in addition to her General Sales Manager duties.
In 2015, Theisen was recognized by Rising Through the Ranks, a program for women in Radio Management, and is a graduate of the MIW Mentee program.
