NYC Radio: WABC's John Batchelor On The Road Again

77 WABC Radio announces that it will broadcast The John Batchelor Show live from Central Asia at Tashkent, the capital of the Uzbekistan Republic, beginning this week.

The John Batchelor Show airs on 77 WABC Monday-Friday from 9:00pm-1:00am, and Sunday from 12:00am-1:00am.

Scala Inc. is sponsoring Batchelor’s live broadcast, in conjunction with the Central Asia, Mongolia, Caucasus and Afghanistan Forum and the Rumsfeld Foundation.

Uzbekistan is deep into the heart of the legendary Silk Road, and host John Batchelor and co-host Christopher Nixon Cox will interview young entrepreneurs who are striving to transform a region of 80 million people into an economic engine to bring prosperity to a civilization that was ignored by the Russian Empire and abused by the Soviet Empire.
