Houston Radio: Jason Cage Named M-D At KHMX-FM

Entercom has announced Jason Cage as Music Director for KHMX Mix 96.5 in Houston.

Cage will continue in his position as host of the station’s afternoon show “The Jason Cage Show” which airs weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CT.

“Jason has proven to be a very valuable contributor to the overall sound and feel of KHMX and has helped to lead culture here at Entercom Houston,” said Sarah Frazier, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Houston. “We are excited to elevate him to the role of Music Director.”

“The opportunities for growth at Mix 96.5 have been fantastic,” said Cage. “I’m honored for the trust bestowed upon me in this new position and I look forward to continuing the momentum at KHMX.”

Cage joined the station as an on-air personality in June 2017. He carries over a decade of on-air experience, including Today’s Hits 96.5 TDY (then 96.5 AMP Radio) in Philadelphia and B96 in Chicago.
