Springfield MO Radio:Tom Oakes Named OM At Scripps Cluster

Scripps Broadcasting has announced the addition of Tom Oakes AS Operations Manager ofr its five-station cluster.

The Springfield Cluster includes Country KTTS, Adult Hits KRVI, CHR KSPW, and News/Talk KSGF-A/F.

Oakes joins Scripps from Anchorage AK where he was VP/GM for Ohana Media Group.

He will handle day-to-day programming for KTTS 94.7 FM, succeeding the late Mark Grantin.

"Tom joins us with a wealth of experience having operated every format we have here in Sprinfield," said Scripps/Springfield VP/GM Rex Hansen.

"His experience as a former General Manager will be vital to moving our team forward and asking what can we do to innovate and continue driving our brands forward."
