Alex Reimer |
Reimer was suspended by the station for a month before returning to his writing duties, and has made occasional appearances on other WEEI 93.7 FM programs since.
According to Shalise Manza Young at Shutdown Corner, Reimer was on the morning show to plug his new role as a media columnist; he also chatted about Boston Red Sox-related news.
He also asked the hosts, Kirk Minihane and Gerry Callahan, when they’d welcome him back to the studio.
“I feel like my purgatory sentence is nearing a close,” Reimer remarked. “I’m not going to call little girls pissants anymore.”
Appearing on a different WEEI program after the debut of the Facebook docu-series, “Tom vs. Time,” which chronicled Brady’s off-field life, Reimer said the opening scene of the show’s debut, which showed Brady on the phone in his Brookline, Massachusetts, home and his 5-year-old daughter, Vivian, calling “Daddy! Daddy!” in the background.
For anyone who is a parent, you know that’s pretty standard; your kids never seem to want your attention more than when you’re on the phone with someone else.
But to Reimer, that made Vivian an “annoying little pissant,” which is how he described the little girl.
Brady was not pleased.
