Cumulus Media announces that New York’s 95.5 PLJ teamed up with Applegate Farm in Montclair, NJ, to create two delectable new ice cream flavors this summer that will help children with special health challenges. Various ice cream flavors were developed by 95.5 PLJ on-air personalities and station listeners chose the two most delicious-sounding flavors by popular vote. The winning flavors, Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Chunk and S’mores Fluff-A-Nutter, were announced Tuesday on 95.5 PLJ during Todd & Jayde in the Morning. Ice cream lovers can buy the new flavors, along with Applegate Farm’s signature “Sweet Scoops From The Past”, at Applegate Farm, 616 Grove Street, Upper Montclair, Montclair, NJ, from August 1 through October 30, 2017. Applegate Farm will donate 95 cents from the sale of every ice cream cone in these two flavors to Children’s Specialized Hospital.
Children’s Specialized Hospital is the nation’s leading provider of inpatient and outpatient care for children from birth to 21 years of age facing special health challenges — from chronic illnesses and complex physical disabilities like brain and spinal cord injuries, to developmental and behavioral issues like autism and mental health. At 13 different New Jersey locations, pediatric specialists partner with families to make many innovative therapies and medical treatments more personalized and effective, so children can achieve more of their goals.
