Charleston SC Radio: Kathy Brown New PD At WWWZ, WMGL

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed 20-year radio programming professional Kathy Brown as Program Director for WWWZ 93.3 FM and WMGL 107.3 FM, heritage Urban radio stations in Charleston, SC.

Brown joins Cumulus Media-Charleston from iHeart Media-St. Louis, where she was Program Director of Urban station KMJM and Gospel station KATZ-AM. She was previously Assistant Program Director at CBS Radio-Atlanta’s Urban station, WVEE. Prior to that, Brown was Operations Manager for Radio One’s WWIN-AM/FM, WERQ and WOLB in Baltimore, MD, and became Regional Program Director during her 14-year tenure, serving Urban AC stations in markets including Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, and Baltimore, as well as Augusta, GA, Detroit, MI, and Los Angeles, CA.
