The show will complement the station’s programming lineup with its unique blend of self-deprecating humor, insightful guests, and thoughtful conversation, targeting the local bilingual listeners.
The program will continue airing live nationwide on ESPN Radio and Sirius XM Channel 80.
"We are glad New York has embraced our particular brand of nonsense. We appreciate the opportunity to continue making fun of Jets fans now on 1050 AM,” said Le Batard. “Being on the ESPN Deportes station makes sense for us because Stugotz still hasn’t learned how to speak English."
The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz will air Monday through Friday following Raza Deportiva (10-12pm). Zona NYC will now air following Le Batard’s show (2-4pm).
“Adding Le Batard’s show to our lineup represents another opportunity to continue expanding ESPN Deportes bilingual audience across all platforms, specially in markets like New York, said Tim McCarthy, senior vice president, ESPN Radio Group. “Dan’s background, voice and style resonate with many bilingual Hispanic sports fans and we are thrilled to offer our ESPN Deportes 1050AM audience more options to listen to relevant sports content in both languages.”
