The station celebrates its 12th anniversary this month with the debut of its new slogan, “Latino….and Proud.”
Kicking off mornings will be Patricia De Lima and Chepe joining Rey Parker, weekdays from 6:00 to 10:00 am. They previously hosted the station’s afternoon show “El Meneo.” Now they’re coming full circle, bringing their familiar brand of compelling content and mayhem to mornings, along with Rey, while also keeping listeners up to date with the latest news, traffic, and weather.
New to the station in the midday slot is Sandee Bonita, a Salvadorian-American who will bring her sassy flavor to EL ZOL weekdays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Bonita comes to Washington from CBS RADIO Las Vegas station Q-100.5FM, where she hosted the midday show.
Henry Flores’ “Dale Con Flo” show moves from nights to afternoon drive, weekdays 3:00 to 7:00 pm. “Henry Flo” burns up the airwaves, working the phones and engaging listeners on social media while playing the DMV’s hottest music.
Omayra Martinez will join Flores in afternoons providing real-time traffic updates, and then continue as host of EL ZOL nights, weeknights 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

“This is the most exciting EL ZOL lineup to date,” added Robert Sanchez, Program Director of EL ZOL 107.9. “Omayra is a strong charismatic Latina who leads both on and off the air. Henry brings incredible passion to the afternoon show with his larger than life presence and undeniable street cred. Patricia, Chepe, and Rey share a unique chemistry that connects with listeners and advertisers alike. And, stay tuned because Sandee’s story is just beginning.”
