Westwood One and Country music superstar Kix Brooks -- one-half of the best-selling duo in country music history, Brooks & Dunn -- celebrate the service of all U.S. military with his annual two-hour Veterans Day music special, A Salute to our Military Veterans with Kix Brooks.
The popular award-winning host of Westwood One’s American Country Countdown, will honor the men and women who have served and are serving in the U. S Armed Forces. He will play songs that capture America’s patriotic spirit, including Brooks & Dunn’s staple hit “Only in America,” along with Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" and "American Soldier," Tim McGraw with "If You're Reading This," "I Drive Your Truck" by Lee Brice, Keith Urban's "For You," "One Hell of an Amen" by Brantley Gilbert, among other songs.
"It has always been close to my heart to make sure to celebrate the servicemen and women who do so much for this country," said Brooks. "I couldn't be more proud to work alongside Westwood One and give them the recognition they deserve and show our gratitude."
Several of Brooks’ fellow Country stars join him for this musical salute, where they share their personal appreciation for our veterans, including Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown, and more.
