Unofficially, Rouse and his former co-hosts, Annie "Annie B" Beccio and Maynard Edwards, did a dry run of the show during a recent late-night time slot.
The original morning show was pulled off the air in 2005, after 17 years on Baltimore's then-WQSR 105.7 FM, where the show aired from 1988-2005.
The sudden cancellation sent Rouse out of the radio business and back to his Rousedale Farm, in Fallston, although he sometimes filled in at WBAL 98 Rock and WLIF 101.9 Lite FM.

General manager Jeff Davis called Rouse & Company's informal debut Wednesday night "fun" because the group was outdoors and passersby seemed excited by the broadcast.
"The amount of people, the amount of advertisers that have been knocking on our door has been phenomenal," Davis said about the new show, adding he is very pleased with the comeback of Harford's oldest radio station.
