Alpha Media, Portland, Oregon has announced Tricia Bastida has been named Senior Vice President/Market Manager of the Palm Springs cluster.
Palm Springs began operating under an LMA June 1, 2015 while pending FCC approval.
Since 1990, Tricia Bastida has been Director of Sales of a seven-station cluster in Oklahoma City. Bastida began gaining her radio selling skills as student at Oklahoma State University, selling for the university radio station. Upon graduation, Bastida began her professional career as a junior account executive for Insilco Radio in Oklahoma City. On July 5, 1982, Bastida was recruited to be a senior account executive for Caribou Communications. While at Caribou, Bastida held management positions ranging from Sales Manager, General Manager, as well as, Regional Manager for Caribou’s Colorado Springs properties.
Alpha Media CEO/President Bob Proffitt commented on the announcement, “We think Palm Springs is a perfect fit for Tricia as our VP/Market Manager, I’m very excited to have her join us to grow this important California market.
