Dr. Nancy Snyderman |
Snyderman had been sidelined from the network in October after breaking a 21-day period of isolation following her return from covering the Ebola crisis in Liberia with a team that included freelance photojournalist Ashoka Mukpo, who became infected with the deadly disease.
It was not immediatly clear what Snyderman will be talking about on "Today," although sources said it will be a medical segment — and that she will apologize for breaking her quarantine.
Snyderman came under fire in for violating the quarantine after she and two other crew members were spotted picking up food at a New Jersey restaurant.
