KKTZ in Mountain Home, AR has moved to 107.5 on the FM dial, with KOMT "The Eagle," a new conservative/Christian talk radio station, taking its place at 93.5, according to the Baxter Bulletin. JOMT previously aired an AC format on 107.5 FM.
"The only thing changing on KKTZ is its frequency," said Stuart Brunner, Twin Lakes Radio general manager. Brunner said the whole station is moving to 107.5, including popular disc jockey Bob Van Haaren (aka DJ Peace), Rick Dees Top 40, as well as Arkansas Razorbacks football and basketball play-by-play broadcasts and coaches shows.

"KKTZ is moving to 107.5, which is our most powerful station with 100,000 watts," Brunner said. "It's the most powerful (station) in Baxter County."
Brunner said Twin Lakes Radio wanted three distinct formats for listeners and advertisers. He said Today's Country on 105.5 will not move anywhere.
"KPFM is on a 50,000-watt signal," Brunner said. "This will be good in Mountain Home. The stations are licensed in Baxter County, so we're not coming in from the next county."
