Clear Channel CEO Bob Pittman has fired up his Falcon 900 jet and heading to the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert this week, according to The NY Post.
Pittman has headed to Nevada’s Black Rock Desert for the better part of a decade to take in the sometimes-kooky community art and music festival — but while most shun the world of consumerism, Pittman, tipsters note, has a tricked-out multimillion-dollar RV.
The 70-year-old executive also brings his own chefs.
He’s not alone, according to The Post, the festival attracts a host of Silicon Valley billionaires who just want to get back to their hippie roots for a few days.
“But while some [of the billionaires] go for a day or two, Bob goes for a week and then takes time off to recover,” one source said.
.
Pittman told The Hollywood Reporter last year that he enjoys the event because, “One of the problems of aging if you’re a creative person is that you tend to narrow your world. It opens my eyes to possibilities.”
