As of Friday (10/04/2013), The Don Geronimo Show is no longer
airing Noon-3pm on CBS Radio’s KHTK 1140 AM. His
last show was Thursday.
As of Friday, The Jason Ross Show fills the Geronimo
time-slot. Ross offered this explanation
Friday: “CBS Sports Radio decided to go
in another direction, which is sports. Don Geronimo is still employed by CBS
Sports Radio.
CBS Radio cluster VP/Programming and KHTK PD Byron Kennedy
has declined to comment.
Although Geronimo is off-air, he’s still listed on the KHTK
website. Stay Tuned.

Don Geronimo was the best thing to happen to KHTK for ratings and revenue, whether you liked him or not. It is obvious that the powers to be at KHTK have some serious problems when making decisions, as we have seen with the hiring and firing of Carmichael Dave, and now the firing of the mighty Don Geronimo. Although Don will bounce back, I can't say the same for KHTK.

DeleteRumor has it, he's got a lead role in the upcoming film "Grease 3 " so he had to put his radio job on hold. n' stuff.
