Roughly 50 members of the Cleveland Plain Dealer staff
learned their jobs were eliminated Wednesday morning.
The paper's parent company, Advance Publications, warned the
staff in a memo earlier this week.
Channel 3 also learned today that some employees at Sun
Newspapers were also laid off. It's still unclear how many, but Sun News is
owned by the same company -- Advance Publications.
Those losing their jobs at Sun included editors, reporters
and photographers.
