Trump Family Launches Trump Mobile Service

The Trump Organization has unveiled Trump Mobile, a new U.S. mobile service and a $499 smartphone, in a licensing deal leveraging the Trump name. Announced at Trump Tower in Manhattan, the venture is led by President Donald Trump’s children while he serves as the 47th U.S. President.

Trump Mobile will operate as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), utilizing the networks of major U.S. carriers—Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. The service offers a $47.45 monthly subscription, a nod to Trump’s presidential terms (45th and 47th), and includes telemedicine, roadside assistance, and unlimited texting to 100 countries.

The accompanying “sleek, gold smartphone” is touted as “designed and built in the United States,” though details about the manufacturer remain undisclosed. Eric Trump, on “The Benny Show” podcast, suggested initial deliveries by August 2025 may not be U.S.-made but expressed ambitions for future domestic production.

“Lori Voornas has been a cornerstone of Portland radio for over three decades, captivating listeners with her warmth and humor,” said Herb Ivy, Director of Content for Townsquare Media Portland. “Her legacy will continue through her community work, and we wish her the best in this next chapter.”

Voornas shared, “After 32 incredible years, I’m ready to sleep past 4 a.m. and explore new dreams—maybe even a bakery! Thank you to Jeff, my radio family, and our listeners for making this journey unforgettable. I’m not leaving Portland, so this isn’t goodbye.”

Voornas’s final show on WHOM is set for June 27, 2025. She plans to remain active in Portland, including leading the 2025 Cans for a Cure event.
