Search for Nancy Guthrie Expands

84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, mother of NBC's "Today" show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, remains missing as the investigation enters its second week, with authorities treating the case as a suspected kidnapping and an alleged $6 million Bitcoin ransom demand looming with a reported 5 p.m. Monday deadline.

The family, including Savannah Guthrie and her siblings Annie and Camron, released a new emotional video plea over the weekend, publicly stating "we will pay" for their mother's safe return and begging any captors to release her.

Investigators from the Pima County Sheriff's Office and FBI returned to Nancy Guthrie's home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday, February 8, conducting searches including a septic tank and manhole on the property. Deputies were also seen at daughter Annie Guthrie's nearby home late Saturday.
