Veteran 96.3 KKLZ-FM morning host Mike O'Brian will retire at the end of October, concluding a nearly 40-year career with Beasley Media Group that left a lasting impact on Las Vegas radio.
Throughout October, KKLZ will celebrate O'Brian's legacy with on-air tributes, special guests, and listener memories, ending with his final broadcast on October 31.As co-host of the beloved "Mike & Carla Morning Show" since the early 1990s, O'Brian's wit, warmth, and relatability shaped morning radio for Southern Nevada listeners.
Earlier this year, he received the Nevada Broadcasters Association’s Southern Nevada Lifetime Achievement Award for his humor, service, and community dedication."
