Greenville SC Radio: WORD Adding Erick Erickson To Line-Up


Audacy announces the addition of Erick Erickson to the weekday programming lineup for News/Talk 98.9 WORD (WYRD-FM), ‘The Voice of the Carolinas,’ in Greenville. The “Erick Erickson Show” can be heard weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET beginning June 21.

Erickson is originally from Jackson, LA and was raised in Dubai. After practicing indigent criminal defense and estate law for six years, Erickson worked as the editor-in-chief for RedState.com, the leading conservative political news blog for right-of-center activists. He then transitioned to broadcasting, serving as a political contributor to CNN and FOX News and hosting the evening drive timeslot on WSB Radio in Atlanta, covering politics, news, culture and current event topics. Erickson has been a regular co-host alongside Neal Boortz and the late Herman Cain and Rush Limbaugh and has since expanded his show to more than 20 radio stations nationwide.
