VA Radio: Bridgett Knupp To Manage iHM Cluster Harrisonburg

iHeartMedia has named Bridgett Knupp named Market President for Harrisonburg.

The cluster includes Country WKCY 104.3 FM, Rock WACL 98.5 FM, Top40 WAZR 93.7 FM, AC WSVO 93.1 FM, Newsradio WKCY 1300 AM /Translator 107.9 FM and Classic Country WKDW 900 AM.

She will report to Chuck Peterson, Area President for iHeartMedia Virginia Community Markets. “I am excited to have Bridgett begin her new role as the leader of our Harrisonburg and Staunton group of station brands,” said Peterson. “She is already known and respected in the local business community through her previous roles with iHeartMedia Harrisonburg. “She has a proven track record of sales leadership and is outstanding in the area of digital advertising.

Knupp moves into the market president role in Harrisonburg after serving as the senior vice president of Sales for the operation since 2011. She began her career with the company as an account executive in 2001. She is a graduate of Emory and Henry College and is currently working toward her MBA at James Madison University.
