Morris will be honored at the 2020 Rhode Island Radio and Television Hall of Fame Annual Induction Dinner with his fellow Class of 2020 inductees on April 30, 2020, at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick (Airport) in Warwick, RI.
Morris, a native of Warren, RI, began his broadcasting career in 1990 at WPRO-FM as a college intern, and was hired full time in March 1991, hosting overnights on the station. Since that time, he has been heard in all dayparts on WPRO-FM, and is the longest-running afternoon drive host in the history of the station.
Morris is currently Program Director for WPRO-FM and for HOT 106, along with hosting afternoon drive on WPRO-FM. He is an advocate for animal rights, and supports Hasbro Children’s Hospital and the Rhode Island Foundation for Suicide Prevention, among other local charitable organizations. Morris is a graduate of Rhode Island College.
