Orlando Radio: Matthew Malone Named PD For Alternative WQMP

Entercom today announced the appointment of Matthew Malone to the role of Program Director for WQMP 101.9 FM, Orlando’s New Alternative.

“Matt has an impressive knowledge of the Alternative format and embraces everything about it,” said Claudia Menegus, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Orlando. “His connection to the music and the audience is real and very refreshing. He’s a great addition to our team and we can’t wait for the future of this great station with Matt’s leadership and passion for the brand.”

Prior to joining Entercom, Malone served as Assistant Program Director and Music Director for KCJK-FM in Kansas City. He has also served as a programming assistant for WLS-FM in Chicago, on-air personality for WLUM-FM in Milwaukee and Assistant Program Director KURQ-FM in San Luis Obispo, CA.
