Media Staffing Network Debuts “0 to 3 Talent Bank”

Media Staffing Network, (MSN) has launched its “0 to 3 Talent Bank” a recruitment program for media companies seeking their next generation of employees in sales, production, business development, on-air, marketing, engineering, IT, digital, and more. “0 to 3” targets recent college graduates and those with less than 3 years of experience in media or fields that have provided them with valuable and transferable skills.

MSN invested six months in populating its “0 to 3 Talent Bank” with qualified candidates, including working directly with more than 200, colleges, universities, and organizations across the country. Every candidate is thoroughly screened by an MSN recruiter before submitting them to a media company.

“Our goal with “0 to 3” is to help our media clients prepare for the future by bringing them the brightest most qualified candidates from today’s younger generations,” stated Laurie Kahn, Founder and CEO of Media Staffing Network. “What makes the “0 to 3 Talent Bank” database so unique is that professional, live, human recruiters review each applicant’s resume to ensure top-quality candidates for our media clients.

“Today’s job market has the lowest unemployment records in decades,” Kahn continued.

“Competition for qualified employees is fierce, particularly for those from younger demographics. Being proactive with recruitment is essential for media companies. Our “0 to 3 Talent Bank” helps ensure that our media clients continue to thrive and remain relevant.”

MSN has partnered with the Beonair Network, which has schools throughout the country and prepares students for broadcast on air, production and sales, and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA), the academic media organization.

“Most recent graduates don’t know how to identify or embark on a successful career path, and, ironically, most media companies are struggling to find and attract them,” observed Heather Birks, Executive Director of the Broadcast Education Association. “MSN is expert at bringing the next generation of media professionals together with media companies that can offer them a rewarding future. We’re delighted to partner with Laurie and her team.”

MSN conducts a needs analysis with its client and matches the desired skills and attributes for a position with candidates in its “0 to 3 Talent Bank.” Qualified candidates’ resumes are screened by an MSN recruiter, and only the most promising are submitted for review by the client. MSN then arranges interviews with the candidates who have been chosen for potential employment.
