“Dan Neaverth is without a doubt the most popular DJ in Buffalo history. It will be nice to have him, along with his unmistakable slogan ‘Danny Moves Your Fanny in the Morning’ back in morning drive,” wrote station owner Buddy Shula in a release.
Neaverth’s radio career began in 1956. He was the morning man at WKBW for 26 years; WHTT for 13 years; and WWKB (formerly WKBW) for three years.
“Many people in Buffalo remember and grew up listening to me in the mornings on Buffalo radio,” wrote Neaverth in a release. “Unfortunately, I never grew up.”
