Rome GA Radio: Syndicator Retracts WSRM-FM Affiliation story

UPDATE 11/9/17 11:30 AM:  Envision Networks Thursday notified media  that WSRM-FM has NOT adopted the HANK-FM format as previously announced. At this time, it is unclear if the station will be making the change.

Envision Networks and Kroeger Media Inc. have announced Rome Radio Partners, LLC’s WSRM-FM in Rome, Georgia as the latest affiliate of HANK FM.

With WSRM’s recent launch as 93.5 HANK FM, the station joins over 200 affiliates on the Envision Country Network. 

From the creator of the Variety Hits Format and BOB FM, Kroeger Media’s HANK FM is a turnkey, 24/7 variety-based country radio format that provides unique personality-driven radio.

Similar to its Adult Hits cousin BOB FM, HANK FM doesn’t play by the rules. HANK breaks the mold with a unique mix of over 1000 tested titles spanning from the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and today. This wide and unique music library can be molded into three distinct HANK flavors that can be customized to meet any market’s needs: HANK Plays Everything Country, HANK Plays Legends of Country, and HANK Plays New Country.

    Wsrm fm is using the hank fm denotation in the rome georgia listening area.this syndicated type of rwdio programming only means that radio is becoming as socialist at television news media.evidently there are not any music programmers left,so individuality is a thing of the past.its only a cash cow for radio station owners now

    Yes WSRM fm 93.5 made a switch to the HANK FM format and it is a great platform as other area stations like the Great WNGC FM 106.1 and107.1 are playing todays country and modern favorites.HANKfm poised to be great alternative capturing a 28 to 55 year old demographic which ensures market share of total listening audience.glad to hear this great format on a l9cal station .Good Luck to HANKFm and may it continue to boost sales in a competitive market.
