Susan Larkin |
According to InsideRadio, Susan Larkin, most recently a regional VP for Entercom in Florida, has replaced Steve DiNardo as VP/market manager of the company’s San Francisco cluster. DiNardo had been with Entercom since 2012 and was named to his most recent position in 2014. His last day with the group was Tues. Oct. 10.
Before joining Entercom in July, Larkin was a regional VP at Cox Media Group, overseeing the company’s portfolio of 14 radio stations and digital properties in Orlando and Jacksonville. Before that the 25-year radio vet was a vice president and general manager at Cox in Orlando for 9 years. Larkin earlier worked as a general sales manager for ABC-Disney Radio in Minneapolis and as a national sales manager and account manager in Columbus, Tampa, and Syracuse, among others.
Larkin’s arrival comes as Entercom has announced the stations it plans to divest to complete its acquisition of CBS Radio. Post-merger, Larkin will manage a six-station cluster that includes four heritage CBS stations and two Entercom properties. The new-look San Francisco cluster will include the news simulcast of KCBS 740 AM and KFRC 106.9 FM, HotAC KLLC 97.3 FM, and modern rock “Live 105” KITS 105.3 FM -- all from CBS. Entercom’s sports KGMZ 95.7 FM The Game and rhythmic AC KRBQ Q102.1 FM will round out the group.
Entercom plans to divest its urban AC “R&B 102.9” KBLX-FM and AC KOIT (96.5) in San Francisco, classic rock “98.5 K-Fox” KUFX San Jose and CBS Radio’s CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ.
