“The number one priority for Westwood One is to deliver great content to our listeners,” said Suzanne Grimes, EVP, Corporate Marketing, Cumulus, and President, Westwood One. “Our longstanding partnership with NARAS enables Westwood One to leverage its exclusive access to the GRAMMYS, which brings the excitement to life for our listeners and allows us to create great content that they cannot find anywhere else. Our second priority is to provide our marketing partners unique opportunities to showcase their brands within relevant content and engaged audiences. Westwood One Backstage Live at the GRAMMYS® weekend delivers on both priorities and we are looking forward to the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards.”
All the excitement kicked off the weekend of February 4 when Westwood One distributed a multiple format, two-hour GRAMMY Nomination Special. The Top 40/Rhythmic, Hot AC, and AC versions were hosted by Jayde, from Todd & Jayde Mornings on WPLJ/NY. The Urban/Urban AC version was hosted by La Loca and Marc Clarke from WNBM/NY.
The 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live from LA’s Staples Center on Sunday, February 12 at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT/5 pm PT on CBS. The Late Late Show star James Corden makes his debut as GRAMMYS host.
