Cumulus announces that it has re-signed Houston’s popular long-running morning show, The Roula & Ryan Show to KRBE 104.1, Houston’s #1 Hit Music Station. The Roula & Ryan Show airs weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Central and debuted on KRBE in 2006.
Co-hosts Roula Christie and Ryan Chase hold court on KRBE mornings with sidekicks Producer Eric (Eric Rowe), Special K (Kevin England) and Phoenix.
Christie and Chase are native Texans who first hit KRBE airwaves in the late 90’s. Christie co-hosted the morning show on Q102 in Philadelphia for Clear Channel/iHeart Media, before returning to Houston for an on-air post at KHMX, and then back home to KRBE in July, 2006. Raised in Houston, Christie holds a B.A. degree in Radio/Television/Film from the University of Houston.
Chase started his radio career while attending Stephen F. Austin State University, then moved to KHMX Houston and on to KRBE for four years. He was previously APD of Z100 in New York, and was morning show personality for KDGE The Edge in Dallas. He then moved to KROQ in Los Angeles for a late night hosting gig, before returning to KRBE on The Roula & Ryan Show in 2006.
