San Diego Radio: Padres Hire New PBP Radio Voice

After seven seasons, the Padres are replacing radio play-by-play voice Andy Masur, accordinb to utsandiego.com.

Jesse Agler is leaving Miami, where he worked for the NFL's Dolphins and 940 The Sports Animal WINZ, and will replace Masur, whose contract was not renewed.

Masur, who came to the Padres from the Chicago Cubs, worked along side the late Jerry Coleman, Ted Leitner and Bob Scanlan.

Leitner and Scanlan will both return for the 2014 season on XEPRS The Mighty 1090.

According to Wayne Partello, the Padres' senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Agler will serve as director of content for the team as well as serving as a play-by-play voice.
