The Friday evening telecast will be commercial free and will benefit the American Red
Cross and be shown on NBC and its cable stations including Bravo, CNBC, USA,
MSNBC and E! Other networks may participate.
The "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" concert telethon will broadcast from Rockefeller Center
in NYC and will be hosted by Matt Lauer. It will air live 8-9 p.m. Eastern and
will be taped-delayed in the West.
The Red Cross is providing shelter, food, emotional support
and other assistance to those affected by disasters like Hurricane Sandy. To
donate, visit RedCross.org, call 1-800-RED-CROSS or text the word REDCROSS to
90999 to make a $10 donation.
