R.I.P.: Paul Houde, Quebec Radio Host/Actor

Paul Houde (1955-2024)
Paul Houde, a beloved Quebec actor, television host, and radio personality, passed away suddenly at the age of 69 on Saturday. 

His family shared the heartbreaking news on social media. 

Houde’s wife, Francine Audette, revealed that his death was a result of complications following a major surgery to remove a mass from his brain. 

Throughout his prolific career in Quebec media, Houde made a significant impact as a radio host on the BPM Sports network, CKAC, and 98.5 FM. He also left his mark in the beloved comedy film series Les Boys, where he portrayed the character Fern, an erudite goalie with an impressive knowledge of professional player statistics. 

Fans, politicians, and fellow media professionals have expressed their grief and admiration for Houde’s public kindness, private warmth, and memorable humor.
