Audacy Philadelphia Raises Over $109,000 for Veterans and Families of the Fallen Through Talk Radio 1210 WPHT's Radiothon to Benefit Travis Manion Foundation

Audacy Philadelphia raised over $109,000 and counting in support of veterans in partnership with the Travis Manion Foundation during the seventh annual “Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Radiothon.” Travis Manion Foundation is led by veterans and families of the fallen who develop, unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them.

“Our WPHT listeners and advertisers are extremely passionate and generous, and we are so grateful for their contributions,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Philadelphia. “Audacy Philadelphia is a strong supporter of the Travis Manion Foundation and the great work they do for veterans in our local community.”

The radiothon was broadcast live from Audacy corporate headquarters in Philadelphia on March 22, 2024. The event was hosted by station talent, including Rich Zeoli, Nick Kayal, Dom Giordano and Dawn Stensland, special guest Ryan Manion, Gold Star Sister and President of the Travis Manion Foundation and the foundation team. Sponsors included Anderson Mechanical Corporation, Emmons Roofing & Siding, The Grand Hotel Cape May, Hoffman Exterminating, McCausland Lock & Alarm, Pennsylvania Link to Aging and Disability Resources, Steamfitters Local 420 and Window Nation.

The Travis Manion Foundation raises critical dollars to benefit programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.

“Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Travis Manion Foundation Radiothon” is a part of Audacy’s commitment to making a meaningful difference at scale. Audacy uses its reach and personal connection with listeners to advance causes that promote strong mental health and build sound communities.
