WWOne Covers NCAA Basketball Finals

Westwood One, the official radio partner of the NCAA, has all the excitement on air, online and on-site as it presents exclusive audio coverage of the 2015 NCAA Men’s Final Four in Indianapolis on Saturday, April 4, 2015 and the NCAA Men’s Division I Championship Game on Monday, April 6, 2015.

The climax of NCAA March Madness will captivate listeners across numerous broadcast and digital platforms, including more than 500+ radio stations, SiriusXM, NCAA March Madness Live, WestwoodOneSports.com, NCAA.com, TuneIn.com, and the TuneIn Radio app.  

In addition to game coverage, Westwood One is taking the experience to the next level with a robust Radio Row presence and a consumer event at NCAA Final Four Fan Fest presented by Capital One--a four-day interactive event for thousands of fans.

Westwood One will be on site giving fans the opportunity to do their own broadcast video which they can share on social media while mingling with celebrities, athletes, and coaches who come through Fan Fest.  Westwood One’s #ThisIsMyCast campaign taps into the personal broadcast wave and showcases the sharable nature of audio and its ability for sports content to connect with fans.

On Saturday, April 4, the broadcast day tips off at 3:30 pm ET from Lucas Oil Stadium with The Final Four Show.  Game coverage begins at 4:30 pm ET with Michigan State vs. Duke, followed by Wisconsin vs. Kentucky, as the Wildcats attempt to make history and finish the season undefeated.

Westwood One Sports’ Kevin Kugler provides the play-by-play, and Clark Kellogg will be the game analyst.  Former UCLA All-American and three-time NCAA Player of the Year Bill Walton contributes analysis to the broadcast and Jim Gray serves as courtside reporter.  Jason Horowitz hosts the pregame and halftime shows, with contributions from Alaa Abdelnaby and Bill Frieder.

The winners of Saturday’s games meet for the championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday, April 6.  Coverage tips off at 6:30 pm ET with “Championship Monday.”  Game coverage begins at 7:30 pm ET.

Westwood One will also broadcast the NCAA Women’s Final Four and NCAA Women’s Division I Championship Game in Tampa on Sunday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 7, 2015. All three women’s games will also be available on multiple platforms for fans to enjoy nationwide.
