L-A Radio: KOST-FM #1 In Congested Top 5

Not only its there congestion on the freeways, the Top 5 (6+ AQH) in Los Angeles is also congested.  The february PPMS, released by Nielsen Monday, show four stations were separated by a mere two-tenths of a point.

IHeartMedia's AC KOST 103.5 FM dropped 5.6-5.2, but held on the #1 spot Top5. Clustermate KIIS 102.7 FM was up 5.0-5.2 to tie for the the #1 spot.

At #3 is CBS RADIO Classic Hits KRTH 101.1 FM K-Earth, which jumped 4.6-5.1 for its best performance since last June. Looking at 25-54, K-Earth jumped up to #4, a year ago the station was ranked #12.

iHM's HotAC was up 4.6-5.0, but slipped to the #4 spot, followed by CBS RADIO Top 40 KAMP 97.1 FM AMP which spiked 3.9-4.3 to move up a spot to #5.

Of note, with Big Boy gone Emmis KPWR 105.9 FM Power106 four places 6+ to #9 dropping 4.0-3.6.  iHM's KRRL REAL 92.3 fM wobbled 2.6-2.5.  There should be something more to report next month.
