Salem Radio Network Names Larry O'Connor Morning Host

Salem Media has named Larry O’Connor as the host of its new national morning program, “O’Connor & Company,” launching May 4 from 6:00–9:00 a.m. Eastern.

The show will air across the Salem Radio Network on more than 140 affiliated stations and simulcast on the Salem News Channel, expanding O’Connor’s reach as one of conservative media’s most prominent voices.

O’Connor will continue hosting his flagship “O’Connor & Company” morning show in the same 6:00–9:00 a.m. Eastern slot on WMAL in Washington, D.C., while the program simultaneously becomes Salem’s national morning flagship.

For more than a decade, O’Connor has been a leading conservative commentator in the nation’s capital. He also serves as Editor of Townhall.com and hosts a daily streaming show, “LARRY.” The expanded role will allow him to deliver timely political analysis, interviews, and commentary to a nationwide audience each morning.

Salem’s cross-platform strategyThe move strengthens Salem’s integrated content strategy by combining O’Connor’s radio, television, digital, and editorial roles.

“Larry is the go-to media voice for the people shaping policy in our nation’s capital,” said Phil Boyce, Senior Vice President of Content at Salem Media. “He’s built a show insiders rely on and an audience that cares deeply about the direction of the country. We’re proud to expand that success across our national lineup.”

O’Connor expressed enthusiasm about the broader platform.

“We’re excited to bring O’Connor & Company to a broader national audience while maintaining the strong foundation and audience connection the show has built in Washington,” he said. “Salem’s integrated vision aligns perfectly with my work across platforms… and makes this an incredibly exciting next chapter.”

Cumulus Media, which owns WMAL, voiced support for the expansion. “The growth of O’Connor & Company reflects the strength of the show and its connection with listeners,” said Jeff Boden, Vice President and Market Manager at Cumulus Media.

“We’re pleased to see the program reach new audiences while continuing to serve our listeners in Washington each morning.”

Following the morning show, O’Connor will host his live digital program “LARRY” at 12:00 p.m. Eastern on YouTube, Rumble, Facebook, and Townhall.com.
