The February 2026 results show Audacy News WINS (1010 WINS) remained the top station in the latest ratings, marking its second consecutive book at #1 among listeners 6+ and delivering its highest share in over a year (7.5–7.8). iHeartMedia AC WLTW (106.7 LITE FM) followed closely at #2 (7.0–7.4), while Audacy Classic Hits WCBS took #3 (5.3–5.3).
A tight race formed at #4, where SBS Spanish Tropical WSKQ (MEGA 97.9) slipped from #3 (5.4–5.0), though it added a 1.1 share from streaming. New York Public Radio N/T WNYC and iHeartMedia Pop CHR WHTZ (Z100) both moved up from a tie at #5, each posting identical 5.1–5.0 shares.
WLTW expanded its cumulative audience lead with a 7.5% increase (3,387,600 to 3,642,300), even as the overall market dipped slightly by 0.2%.
In the key 25–54 demographic, WLTW reclaimed the #1 spot despite a minor decline. WSKQ dropped to #2 after a notable share loss, with its stream ranking #17. Los Angeles: KOST is Boss
iHeartMedia AC KOST held onto the top spot in the 6+ ratings for a fourth straight book, despite a slight dip (6.3–6.2), as the overall market showed little movement this month. Audacy Classic Hits KRTH (K-EARTH 101FM) remained #2 (5.7–5.8), followed by iHeartMedia Hot AC KBIG (104.3 MYFM) at #3 (5.3–5.3).
Audacy Adult Hits KCBS (93.1 JACK FM) stayed at #4 (4.4–4.5) but was joined by Audacy News KNX, which rose from #5 to match that position with its strongest performance since July (4.3–4.5). SBS Mexican Regional KLAX (LA RAZA 97.9) was unchanged at #6 (4.2–4.2).
KOST continued to lead in cumulative audience, even with a 5.8% decline (2,354,800 to 2,218,400), while the overall market slipped 1.2%.
In the 25–54 demographic, KRTH surged to #1 with its best showing since November, breaking last month’s tie with AUDACY Alternative KROQ. KROQ moved to #2 despite posting its highest share in over a year. KBIG fell from first to third with a slight decrease.
Two stations advanced into a tie at #4: KCBS, which moved up from #5 with a flat performance, and KOST, which rose from #6 with a modest gain. iHM's Alternative KYSR (ALT 98.7) dropped to #6 following a small decline in share.
Chicago: The News Is All Over Town
Auducy News WBBM-A held the top spot among 6+ listeners for the second consecutive book, posting a steady 5.9 share, as a tightly packed leaderboard saw four stations within a single share point of first place.
Audacy AAA WXRT (93XRT) climbed to #2 with its strongest performance in over a year (5.4–5.6), while Hubbard Hot AC WTMX (101.9 THE MIX) slipped to #3 (5.5–5.4). iHeartMedia AC WLIT (93.9 LITE FM) remained at #4 (5.2–5.0).
Audacy Country WUSN (US99) jumped two spots to #5 with its best showing since November (4.0–4.8). In contrast, Nexstar N/T WGN-A (RADIO 720) dropped sharply from #5 to #9 with its lowest share since October (4.8–3.7), tying with WBEZ Alliance N/T WBEZ (3.8–3.7).
WLIT continued to lead in cumulative audience, increasing 4.0% (1,200,200 to 1,247,700), as the overall market grew 2.4%.
In the 25–54 demographic, WTMX remained a dominant #1 for the second straight book despite a slight decline. iHM Pop CHR WKSC (103.5 KISS FM) held at #2 with a modest gain. WLIT ranked #3, tied with WXRT, which moved up with another best book in over a year. Audacy Pop CHR WBBM-F (B96) also posted its best performance in over a year, rising from #8 to #5.
Dallas/Fort Worth: Everything Gets MIXED Up
iHeartMedia Hot AC KDMX (MIX 102.9) led the 6+ ratings for the second straight book, rising to a 5.2 share (4.5–5.2), as several stations posted notable gains in a growing market.
EMF Contemporary Christian KLTY (K-LOVE) surged from #7 into a tie for #3 with its best performance in over a year (3.6–4.4), matching iHeartMedia Pop CHR KHKS (106.1 KISS FM), which also landed at #3 (4.2–4.4). iHeartMedia AC KDGE (STAR 102.1) slipped to #4 (4.4–4.2), while AUDACY Adult Hits KJKK (100.3 JACK FM) held at #5 (3.8–3.8).
Audacy Alternative KVIL (ALT 103.7) dropped four spots to #8 (3.9–3.5), tying with Service Urban Contemporary KKDA (K104), which recorded its first increase since October (2.9–3.5).
KDGE maintained its lead in cumulative audience, growing 5.8% (1,165,500 to 1,233,100), as the overall market expanded 3.7%.
In the 25–54 demographic, Televisavision Mexican Regional KLNO (QUÉ BUENA 94.1) remained #1 despite a slight dip. KDMX rebounded to #2, trailing by roughly half a share. KJKK jumped from #7 to #3 with its strongest showing in over a year, while KHKS held at #4 with a modest gain. KDGE fell from #3 to #5 following a slight decline.
Houston: Sunny Shines
iHeartMedia AC KODA (SUNNY 99.1) extended its dominance, finishing #1 in the 6+ ratings for a seventh consecutive survey with a 9.0 share (9.7–9.0), even as the broader market posted a 3.4% gain.Urban One Urban AC KMJQ (MAJIC 102.1) held at #2 but continued its downward trend with a fourth straight decline (6.9–6.7). Urban One Country KKBQ (93Q) benefited from rodeo season, remaining #3 while reaching its highest share in over a year (5.8–6.6). Hope Media Contemporary Christian KSBJ climbed back to #4 with its best showing since August (5.3–6.0), and Audacy Hot AC KHMX (MIX 96.5) rounded out the top five again (5.1–5.1).
KODA remained the cume leader despite a slight 2.0% drop (1,928,000 to 1,890,100).
In the 25–54 demographic, iHeartMedia Alternative KTBZ (94.5 THE BUZZ) moved into #1 for the first time since March, edging out KODA, which slipped to #2—its first time out of the top spot in over a year. KSBJ rose to #3 with its fourth consecutive gain, tying with KKBQ, which jumped from #6 with its best performance in exactly a year.
KHMX fell to #5, ending a four-book surge, while SBS Mexican Regional KROI (LA LEY 92.1) rebounded to #6. KMJQ dropped from #4 to #7, posting its lowest share since April.
