The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has announced the winners of the 51st Annual Gracie Awards, honoring women and programming across radio, television, streaming, and digital media.
Among this year’s top honorees are Abby Phillip, Oprah Winfrey, Monica Lewinsky, Rhea Seehorn, Sarah Snook, and Tina Knowles, along with recognized programs such as Dancing with the Stars, Yellowjackets, and a feature with Chappell Roan. The awards highlight contributions that elevate women’s voices and storytelling across media platforms.
The Gracie Awards Gala will be held May 19 at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, where national winners will be honored. Additional recipients, including local, radio, and student winners, will be recognized June 16 at Cipriani 42nd Street.
In radio, national honorees include Jodi Koontz of “Murphy, Sam & Jodi” for Host/Personality, Nina Hajian of “The Jubal Show” for Co-Host, and Deborah Rodriguez of CBS News Radio for News Anchor. Recognized programs include “The Anna & Raven Show” and “Radio Health Journal.”Additional awards went to WBUR’s “On Point” with Meghna Chakrabarti for public affairs, investigative reporting from NPR, and WNYC’s “Radiolab” for its interview feature “Galaxy Quenching.”
The Grand Award for Documentary was presented to Hulu’s “Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything,” recognizing the legacy of pioneering journalist Barbara Walters.
AWMF President Becky Brooks said the winners reflect the influence of women’s storytelling across media and its impact on audiences and culture. The awards are supported by major sponsors including CNN, Hallmark Media, iHeart/Premiere, Katz Media Group, and NCTA: The Internet & Television Association.
