Urban One Inc.'s Radio One division has unveiled a series of leadership promotions across its major markets, reinforcing its commitment to dynamic programming and community engagement. The changes, effective immediately, highlight internal talent and aim to enhance operational excellence and local impact.
New Leadership Roles
- Washington, DC: A Plus has been appointed Operations Manager (OM) for Radio One DC, overseeing stations WKYS, WMMJ, WPRS, WOL, and WYCB. A Plus transitions from the OM role in Cleveland.
- Cleveland: Matt Myers takes on the Operations Manager position for Radio One Cleveland (WENZ, WZAK, WERE, WJMO), moving from his prior role as OM in Richmond.
- Richmond: Katt D (Erwin Hill) is named Operations Manager for Radio One Richmond (WCDX, WKJS, WXGI, WPZZ), following his tenure as OM in Raleigh.
- Raleigh: Melissa Wade is promoted to Program Director for WFXC and WNNL, stepping up from Assistant Program Director at WNNL. Big Mo joins as Program Director for WQOK in the same market.
- Cincinnati: DJ Supreme is elevated to Program Director for WIZF.
- Columbus: DJ Nailz is appointed Program Director for WCKX, and Robyn Simone takes the Program Director role for WXMG.
