TV Ratings: Almost 5M Viewers Watched Kirk Coverage On Fox


FOX News Channel’s (FNC) special coverage of the memorial of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk delivered 4.8 million viewers and 687,000 in the 25-54 demo from 1:30-7:15 PM/ET on Sunday, September 21, according to early data from Nielsen Media Research. 

Throughout the duration of the special coverage, the network held 89% and 91% share of the cable news audience with viewers and the 25-54 demo, respectively. Additionally, FNC secured quadruple-digit advantages over CNN’s 330,000 viewers and 48,000 in the 25-54 demo and MSNBC’s 251,000 viewers and 21,000 in the 25-54 demo from 1:30-7:15 PM/ET. FNC’s viewership peaked during Erika Kirk’s remarks during the 6 PM/ET hour, with 5.9 million viewers and 878,000 in the 25-54 demo.

From 1:30-6 PM/ET, Kayleigh McEnany and Lawrence Jones’ four-hour special titled Remembering Charlie Kirk (1:30-6 PM/ET) commanded 4,521,000 viewers and 639,000 in the younger demo, surpassing CNN (307,000 viewers; 42,000 A25-54) and MSNBC (257,000 viewers and 20,000 A25-54).

FOX News’ YouTube livestream of the memorial amassed 2.2 million total live video views, its third most-viewed livestream of 2025, according to YouTube analytics.
