The Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) have unveiled the results of their 2025-2026 Board of Directors election, assembling a dynamic group of industry leaders tasked with steering the prestigious Country Radio Seminar (CRS), a cornerstone event for the country music and radio industries.
The newly elected and appointed board members, announced on Tuesday, reflect a mix of seasoned professionals and new talent, poised to shape the future of country radio amid a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Leadership Continuity and Transition
Returning as key officers, Kurt Johnson of Townsquare Media will continue as CRB President, bringing his extensive experience in radio programming and strategy to guide the organization. John Shomby of Country's Radio Coach remains Vice President, leveraging his expertise in coaching and industry trends.
In a notable transition, Matt Sunshine from The Center For Sales Strategy steps into the role of Secretary, succeeding Beverlee Brannigan of Beverlee Brannigan LLC Creative Coaching, who held the position for many years. This leadership trio is expected to drive the CRB’s mission of fostering innovation, education, and collaboration within the country radio sector.
The 2025-2026 board combines re-elected veterans, newly elected members, and appointed industry figures, ensuring a balance of continuity and fresh perspectives. The following individuals were re-elected for a third term, underscoring their enduring commitment to the CRB’s goals:

- Jordan Pettit (Grand Ole Opry), representing one of country music’s most iconic institutions.
- Stacy Waugh (Big Loud), adding expertise from a leading independent label.
