FL Radio: N/T WYOO Adds The Florida Man Network

JVC Broadcasting has announced NewsTalk 101.1 WYOO is officially joining the Florida Man Radio Network Monday August 4th, expanding the brand’s powerful, unfiltered talk format across the Florida Panhandle.

WYOO will now carry the full Florida Man Radio lineup anchored by Shannon Burke and Bubba the Love Sponge, and will welcome Panama City’s own Brian Rust to the network as the new 9AM–12N CST host.

“This is more than a format flip; it’s a statement,” said John Caracciolo, CEO of JVC Broadcasting. “By bringing WYOO into the Florida Man Radio Network, we’ve created a single, dominant talk radio platform that spans from Pensacola through Panama City and beyond. The Florida Panhandle is one of the most politically engaged and conservative regions in the country. This move allows us to deliver content that speaks directly to the values, voice, and lifestyle of real Floridians.”

“This region is passionate about strong, local voices—and now they’re getting the best of both worlds,” said John Griffo, Market Manager for JVC Broadcasting who oversees the network. . “With Shannon Burke and Bubba bringing their unique edge, and Panama City’s own Brian Rust joining the network, we are giving the Panhandle a talk radio lineup that’s unstoppable, and that will dominate talk radio in the panhandle. And that’s before we make the big announcement coming soon to the line-up”

The launch of Florida Man Radio across these two connected signals blankets over 400,000 residents, covering key Gulf Coast communities and inland counties. It can also be heard on 104.9 WYGC in High Springs Florida.
