Atlanta Radio: V-103 Celebrates 30 Years With Greg Street

Audacy’s iconic Hip-Hop and R&B station V-103 (WVEE-FM) in Atlanta is proud to celebrate the 30th anniversary of legendary host Greg Street. Street’s three-decade journey at V-103 will be honored with a live broadcast celebration on June 16 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET at the Big Oomp Studio Kitchen in Southwest Atlanta.

The event will feature live tributes, surprise appearances and proclamations from Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr., who will join listeners and community leaders in honoring Greg’s impact on the music scene, local culture and youth empowerment.

“We salute and honor DJ Greg Street on his 30th radio anniversary at V-103,” said Reggie Rouse, Brand Manager, V-103. “His consistency, cultural relevance and deep roots in this community are rare in our industry. We look forward to many more years because, as everyone knows, ‘Greg Street Be Bangin.’”

Before becoming a fixture at V-103, Street built his reputation across Mississippi, Alabama and Texas, even juggling shows in Atlanta and Dallas simultaneously from 2002-2005. This extensive Southern radio experience provided him deep understanding of the region’s diverse musical landscape. Throughout his career he’s received many accolades, including being named in The Source Magazine’s Power 30 in 2019, inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame in 2020, honored as DJ of the South by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Grammy Awards in 2023 and having the City of Atlanta declare 404 Day in 2024 as Greg Street Day.
