Fox News Channel All Cable Total Day, Primetime


During the week of July 22-28, FOX News Channel (FNC) continued to lead all of cable television across primetime and total day with viewers. FNC once again outpaced CNN and MSNBC combined in all categories, reaching double and triple digit advantages across the board, marking the 180th consecutive week that it has been cable news’ most-watched network across total day. 

In primetime (8-11 PM/ET), FNC earned 2.9 million viewers and 395,000 in the 25-54 demo, commanding all of cable with viewers. In total day (6AM-6AM/ET), FNC posted 1.7 million viewers and 237,000 in the 25-54 demo. Jesse Watters Primetime was the top show of the week securing over 4.4 million viewers. Year-over-year FNC was up over 50% with both primetime and total day viewers. Additionally, FNC delivered 53% share with total day viewers and 55% with primetime viewers across cable news.
  • For the week, The Five averaged 3.7 million viewers and 374,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 6 PM/ET, Special Report with Bret Baier drew 2.8 million viewers and 323,000 in the 25-54 demo. The Ingraham Angle saw 2.9 million viewers and 361,000 in the 25-54 demo at 7 PM/ET. At 8 PM/ET, Jesse Watters Primetime delivered 4.4 million viewers and 595,000 in the 25-54 demo, making it the highest-rated show of the week across the board. At 9 PM/ET, Hannity posted 3.6 million viewers and 542,000 with A25-54. At 11 PM/ET, FOX News @ Night secured 1.7 million viewers and 277,000 in the 25-54 demo.
  • FOX News Channel’s Gutfeld! was the highest-rated program in late-night television for the week. Gutfeld! averaged 3.1 million viewers and 475,000 in the 25-54 demo, topping CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (1,947,000 P2+; 308,000 A25-54), NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1,511,000 P2+; 384,000 A25-54), ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1,109,000 P2+; 237,000 A25-54) across the board.
  • FNC also saw a number of its daytime programs outrank the broadcast competition. Most notably Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET; 2,397,000 P2), The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11 AM/ET; 2,278,000 P2+), The Story with Martha MacCallum (weekdays, 3 PM/ET; 2,174,000 P2+), America Reports (weekdays, 1-3 PM/ET; 2,159,000) and America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9-11 AM/ET; 2,092,000 P2+) all outpaced NBC’s Today Third Hour (1,936,000 P2+) Today with Hoda and Jenna (1,372,000 P2+) and ABC’s GMA3 (1,313,000 P2+).
  • On Saturday: Life, Liberty & Levin (weekends, 8 PM/ET) was the most-watched show in primetime with 1,636,000 viewers. One Nation with Brian Kilmeade (weekends, 9 PM/ET) was the top show in the 25-54 demo with 238,000 viewers. The Big Weekend Show (Saturday, 7 PM/ET) posted 1.6 million viewers and 185,000 in the 25-54 demo. Cavuto Live (Saturday, 10 AM/ET) secured 1.3 million viewers.
  • On Sunday: Life, Liberty & Levin (weekends, 8 PM/ET) was the most-watched show of the entire weekend with 1,712,000 viewers. Sunday Morning Futures secured 1,707,000 viewers and was the top show of the day in the 25-54 demo with 165,000 viewers. Sunday Night in America (Sunday, 9 PM/ET), which featured an interview with J.D. Vance, secured 1.6 million viewers.
