SportsRadio 94WIP, the flagship station of the Philadelphia Phillies, is heading to London to broadcast Major League Baseball’s London Series as the Phillies take on the New York Mets June 8 and 9.
To celebrate the weekend, “The WIP Morning Show” will also broadcast two live shows from Passyunk Avenue, London’s Philadelphia-themed bar, on Friday, June 7 and Monday, June 11 in partnership with Phans of Philly. The broadcasts, which will air both days starting at 11:00 a.m. local London time (6:00 a.m. ET), will welcome surprise guests as the station celebrates the hometown Phillies, including former Phillies players and World Series champions Cole Hamels and Matt Stairs.
