NYC Radio: Susan Richard Promoted as WINS TOH Newscast Anchor


Audacy has elevated Susan Richard to top-of-the-hour morning news anchor on 1010WINS-AM/92.3 FM in New York. Richard will be the third person to anchor morning drive and the first woman to hold the position in the station’s 58-year history.

A native New Yorker, Richard joined 1010 WINS in 1998. Before that, she was the Program Director at WFAS-FM, a weekend personality at K-JOY 98.3 on Long Island, and a freelance News Anchor at WQCD and New Jersey 101.5. She also has voiceover and narration credits for ABC’s “All My Children,” ABC Radio Network, and GrassRoots Environmental Education Video. Since 2009, she has hosted the video web show “All for Animals,” which supports animal rescue, and she has served as an emcee for gala fundraisers for Animal Care Centers of NYC and elsewhere. She co-hosts 1010 WINS’ 4th of July coverage with Larry Mullins and provides news on NEW 102.7 (WNEW-FM) each weekday morning.
